The overview

The focus of the Advanced Emergency Medical Technician is to provide basic and limited advanced emergency medical care and transportation for critical and emergent patients who access the emergency medical system. This individual possesses the basic knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care and transportation. Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians function as part of a comprehensive EMS response, under medical direction. Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians perform interventions with the basic and advanced equipment typically found on an ambulance. The Advanced Emergency Medical Technician is a link from the scene to the emergency health care system.

ETC Solutions, Inc. serves the community by partnering with schools in Georgia by offering CPR,First Aid classes which help serve as fundraisers for the sponsoring schools.

Program Cost

Program Tuition CostAEMT Program is $4,500.00 ( payment plans available)

Students may opt to sign up for the AEMT Tuition Payment Plan only as follows:
Tuition down payment is due no later than three weeks prior to the start of class to reserve your spot.  A detailed payment schedule will be provided after submission of enrollment packet.

Admission Requirements

To be admitted into the AEMT program, candidates must have:

  • Valid state-issued ID or driver’s license
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED (or higher)
  • Clear and pass a background check and drug screen
  • Up to Date Immunizations Records
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certification
  • Certificate of completion for the most recent version of FEMA ICS 100, 200, 700, and 800
  • Certificate of completion of a Traffic Incident Management (TIM) course
  • Students must have obtained their NREMT EMT certification either at class start or within 30 calendar days of class starting
