The overview
The focus of the Emergency Medical Responder is to initiate immediate lifesaving care to patients who access the emergency medical system. A trained and certified EMR possesses the basic knowledge and skills necessary to provide lifesaving interventions while awaiting additional EMS response and to assist higher level personnel at the scene and during transport. Emergency Medical Responders function as part of a comprehensive EMS response, under medical direction. Emergency Medical Responders perform basic interventions with minimal equipment.

Program Cost
Program Tuition Cost
- EMR Program is $1,300.00 ( payment plans available)
Students may opt to sign up for the EMR Tuition Payment Plan only as follows:
Tuition down payment of $650.00 is due no later than three weeks prior to the start of class to reserve your spot. A detailed payment schedule will be provided after submission of enrollment packet.
Admission Requirements
- Valid state-issued ID or driver’s license
- Proof of high school diploma or GED (or higher)
- Clear and pass a background check and drug screen
- Up to Date Immunizations Records
